Men Care too aims to increase awareness and recognition of men in unpaid and caring roles. Sons, brothers, fathers, uncles, husbands, neighbours and mates all helping someone they care about who may have a disability, mental illness, chronic condition, terminal illness, alcohol or other drug issue or who are frail aged.

Parents Beyond
Breakup

Parents Beyond Breakup is a charity that supports parents experiencing trauma related to family breakdown and separation. Separation from their former partner and from their children; a factor closely linked to suicide in Australia. Every child deserves the best start in life and that is why we work so hard to keep separated parents alive and in their children’s lives.

The Men’s Table

The Men’s Table is a community building and men’s mental health and suicide prevention initiative. At each Men’s Table, a group of 10 - 12 local men meet once a month over a cheap meal in a private room or venue, to talk, listen and share their highs and lows and how they’re really feeling.

Holden Street Clinic

A specialist HIV and sexual health service that provides confidential specialist medical care and counselling for individuals. Priority is given to people living with HIV, men who have sex with men, sex workers, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, those with symptoms of STIs (Sexually Transmissible Infection), and people injecting drugs. It promotes prevention, positive sexual health and education. Available to people 15 years and older.

eMental Health Resources

eMental Health Resources are an online, mostly free CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy) based therapy modules that can be completed at home on a mobile phone, tablet device or computer. eMental health resources are evidence based, with most reporting that 97% of users found the online modules useful and would recommend them to a friend or relative to use.
